Toggle "brief mode". When in brief mode, you don't see the descriptions of the room you enter; only the name of the room and the people and objects there. Unless you're very familiar with the area in which you're travelling, however, it is not advisable to use this command. Frequently, you will find small but vital hints in the descriptions of the rooms: An extra peek at your surroundings could mean the difference between life and death! Brief mode also toggles the ----- dividers. Using brief mode is NOT recom- mended! If you explicitly type 'look', you will always see the full room description, even in BRIEF mode.
